Art in Air The success of aerial photography or filming stands or falls with the method of filming, the aerial approach, the position of the sun and the weather conditions. But the most important element is the actual moment of filming. This demands a great deal of expertise on the part of the photographer as well as the pilot. Studio Hagens works with a permanent helicopter pilot who perfectly understands the requirements for each assignment. This is clearly visible in the results: Striking overviews, prominently framed buildings, dynamic business properties, transparent photographs of neighborhoods, and impressive landscapes. Wherever photography is possible, so is videotaping. Art in Air There are numerous situations in which aerial photography can be not only beautiful, but also essential. This includes situations, such as the need for a complete overview of buildings, neighborhoods, cities, landscapes and even objects of art that are placed in a specific relationship with respect to their environment. In such situations aerial photography may be a more advantageous option than you might think possible. Aerial photography is characteristic and alive. Art in Moment As stated on the frontpage, the actual moment at which the picture is taken is of exceptional importance. Weather-wise, the Netherlands has a chronic shortage of perfect shooting days. The best conditions are available on bright sunshine, low-fog days. For this reason it is always important to issue the assignment in good time. While, in most instances, Hagens charges a fixed price per location, it is sometimes possible for prices to increase due to extended flight routes to the object. Our base is very centrally located in Hilversum, which means that filming Art in Choice Customers placing an order for aerial photography will receive between 10 and 20 shots, for which a set of contact prints will be provided. The customer can then select the best shots. Aerial shots are perfect for large prints, which we can print on our advanced inkjet printers. The printers provide quality prints of 1200 dpi or more without any loss of quality in relation to the original. Art in 'Low Flight' Sometimes aerial photography should not only be high, but also low. Studio Hagens is one of the few companies in the Netherlands that hold a special low-flying permit; under certain circumstances it is even possible to film at an altitude of 50 metres. Obviously this can yield highly spectacular images.
